The Deluxe Double Room was the most beautiful I have ever experienced, with tasteful decor, ample sunlight, and creature comforts like an iron just outside the door. Emma's exceptional service and cocktail-making skills added to the delightful experience, complemented by a fantastic location close to shops and attractions. Dinner featuring freshly caught fish was a highlight, though the limited outlets and upstairs wifi were minor drawbacks.

Our stay was delightful, with a charming ambiance and friendly staff. The deluxe double room was cozy, although those stairs with luggage were a challenge! Breakfast options were tasty but a cooked option would enhance the experience. Don't miss the exceptional Chardonnay at dinner!

Staying at Gilbey's was a delight. the bespoke mattress ensured an incredible night's sleep, and the full English breakfast was the perfect start to our days exploring Windsor's historic sights.

The room was lovely with a fantastic roll-top bath and the a/c was a lifesaver. I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy leisure room and catching a movie in the tv lounge. The breakfast timing could be better, especially for early risers like me, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

We enjoyed our early check-in before a castle tour, and the room was lovely with a nice bath for relaxation. The cozy lounge and fantastic movie selection were perfect for winding down after a long day. Just a heads-up, we had a few stairs to manage with our luggage, but overall, we’d recommend securing a table at the restaurant for some delicious eats! 😊

Spacious room, pleasant atmosphere, the large bathroom with a claw foot tub made our stay truly enjoyable, and the welcoming hosts provided us with all the necessary toiletries and towels.

The room was a deluxe double, very nice and spacious with a comfy bed. I really appreciated having iron and ironing board right outside my door, totally unexpected and made my stay smooth.

It was just a great match for a relaxing holiday in Windsor with value for price. The breakfast was lovely, but you have to pay extra for drinks. Consider upgrading the breakfast options for a better start to your day.

i recently stayed in eton and this charming spot exceeded my expectations during my luxurious holiday. the room was beautifully decorated with a freestanding bath and a fantastic shower. The air conditioning worked perfectly. location-wise, it was a short walk to windsor castle, making it super convenient.

The location of the Gilbey'S Bar, Restaurant & Townhouse was fantastic, providing quick access to Windsor Castle and Eton. The restaurant served excellent food, and my room was large, clean, and very comfortable with good quality shower amenities. The staff were welcoming and allowed me to check in early, which was a great help for my work schedule.

I enjoyed the amazing location of Gilbey's, just a short walk from Windsor Castle and the River Thames. The room felt very spacious and the bed was super comfy, adding to a restful stay. Plenty of hotel-style amenities were at my fingertips, like a coffee machine and USB power points. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent. it really started my day off right. On the downside, the WiFi connection was slow and unreliable, especially on my last day. some fixtures in the room needed a bit of maintenance, as a few towel rails were coming off the wall. A more consistent staffing presence could help with responsiveness during off-hours. these minor issues didn't overshadow the comfort I experienced. I would certainly come back, especially because of the free parking and warm atmosphere.
